Preamble
When purchasing services or products from John Martin SA (trading name: "Brouwerij Bourgogne des Flandres"), whose registered office is located at Rue du Cerf 191, 1331 Genval, Belgium, these General Terms of Sale apply to all price offers, sales, deliveries, and online bookings for guided tours.
Any order implies automatic acceptance of the applicability of these General Terms, to the exclusion of all other conditions.
General provisions
- Our staff have the right to exclude visitors from the premises of the Brouwerij Bourgogne des Flandres if they do not comply with these conditions or if they disturb (or are likely to disturb) public order. No compensation is due in these cases.
- Instructions from our staff must be followed at all times.
Booking guided tours
- Persons aged 18 and over can book guided tours, either on-site during opening hours or online at any time.
- The online booking system allows for the reservation of a guided tour at a given time for 1 to 25 people.
- Booking and payment are made through this online system.
- Any online booking will result in a confirmation email containing the booking number. This email serves as an entry ticket.
- Subject to availability, it is possible to change the date and/or time of a booking up to 24 hours before the originally scheduled visit by reconnecting to the online system.
Access
- A valid entry ticket is required to access the Brasserie Bourgogne des Flandres. Visitors must keep their ticket with them for the duration of the visit and be able to present it at the request of our staff.
- The entry ticket is only valid on the day of the visit and becomes invalid upon leaving the brewery.
- It is not possible to interrupt a visit and resume it later.
- The Brasserie Bourgogne des Flandres reserves the right to refuse access to any person, particularly those under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who may disturb public order.
- For hygiene and safety reasons, pets are not allowed. The brewery also does not provide a space for pet care.
Children and Accompaniment
- Children under 16 may only access the brewery when accompanied by at least one adult.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for the behaviour of their children.
- If a child interrupts the visit, the accompanying adult must also leave the brewery (with any other dependent children if applicable). No refund will be granted in this case.
Accessibility
- The Bourgogne des Flandres Brewery is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
- Guide dogs that are properly trained are allowed upon consultation, upon presentation of an accreditation certificate and prior notification to the staff.
Safety
For everyone's safety, access to technical areas and other spaces clearly reserved for staff is strictly prohibited.
Prohibited items
- Any weapon or dangerous object is strictly prohibited.
- Radios and other sound systems are not permitted.
- Toys and other objects that may disturb other visitors during the visit are prohibited.
Tobacco and drugs
- Smoking or consuming drugs inside the brewery is prohibited.
- Smoking is allowed outside, provided that cigarette butts are disposed of properly after use.
Photography and filming
- Photography and filming are permitted.
- Visitors may be photographed or filmed. The Bourgogne des Flandres Brewery reserves the right to use these materials for its publications.
Damage and liability
- Visitors enter the brewery at their own risk.
- The Bourgogne des Flandres Brewery is not responsible for damage to personal property, clothing and/or body parts, unless such damage is directly caused by the brewery or its staff.
- Any damage must be reported to reception before departure. No compensation is possible in the event of late notification.
- Brasserie Bourgogne des Flandres accepts no responsibility for the loss or deterioration of property entrusted to the brewery for safekeeping.
- This exclusion of liability does not apply if the brewery receives compensation for the risk incurred from an insurance company or a third party.
- The brewery is maintained with care. Any visitor encountering damage or a dangerous situation is required to report it urgently to a member of staff or to reception before leaving the premises.
- Any (unintentional) damage caused by a visitor must be reported to reception before their departure.
Promotion and sale
The promotion and sale of services and/or products within the premises of Brasserie Bourgogne des Flandres, in its vicinity or on its access road is not permitted without prior written consent from management.
Ticket refunds
No refunds for a reserved visit are possible. This applies to both group visitors and individual visitors, including in the following cases:
- Illness or absence
- Theft or loss of the entry ticket
- Visit not meeting your expectations
It is also not possible to interrupt a visit and resume it later.
Intellectual property
This website is the exclusive property of John Martin SA. It contains information and images whose intellectual property is protected by trademark law, copyright, etc. All intellectual property rights remain our exclusive property or that of our licensors; you may not assert any rights over them.
